Terms & Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions below before placing an order with us. 

By confirming an order with Harpers House Ltd and paying your invoice, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.


All products are created in a registered kitchen. As we are not a zero allergen kitchen, traces of other ingredients may be detected in our products, this includes but is not limited to gluten, dairy, nuts.


To secure your date and confirm your booking, full payment is required within 48hours after we send you an invoice if not paying directly from the website via creditcard/debit plus card. We do not offer refunds for event cancellations or change or mind.


In any event such as natural disaster, pandemic, or large scale situation beyond our control, refunds will not be provided. However, we are happy to postpone your order for up to 6 months if the event can be rescheduled within this time frame.


Availability of flowers and decorations that may affect your cake, we will endeavor to do our best to provide close alternatives.
Any changes to flavours or design within one week of the date required will incur additional charges. Late changes may not be accommodated.

Most cakes contain small proportions of inedible items, it is the clients responsibility to ensure these are removed by you or your caterer before guests consumption (Support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbon, wires in sugar flowers, flower picks & flower tape, where fresh flowers are used).

Some flowers are poisonous and not suitable for use on food products. If you are adding your own flowers, or any other decoration to your cake then we can no longer guarantee the safety and hygiene of the cake and are no longer responsible for it.


All cakes created may be photographed. We reserve the right to use the photos for advertising, on social media or our website. At our classes you will be asked to opt out of photographs if you do not wish your image to be used in our marketing and promotional material. By agreeing to be in our photographs (or not opting out) you consent to allow us to use your images.


Hours for pick up are strictly as arranged when booking. If you do not arrive at the agreed time and no contact has been made, your deposit will be forfeited and your cake no longer available. Cakes not collected after 24 hours will be sold, or given away.


Harpers House Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability once your cake has left our premises. Instructions will be given for transporting the cake. If your cake suffers any damage after collection, we may be able to help rectify the situation. Please note charges may apply. Please contact us as soon as practically possible if this situation arises.
Harpers House Ltd  will take care and make every reasonable effort when delivering your cake. Harpers House Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for the condition of the cake between delivery, display and serving of your cake following delivery.
Any problem with your cake must be reported back to Harpers House Ltd within 3 days of event or pick up. For refund consideration, Harpers House Ltd requires the faulty cake to be returned within 3 days of event. If you are unable to produce the uneaten cake we will not consider refund or replacement.
